The Ministries of Harvest Fellowship Praise Team: The purpose of the Praise and Worship Team is to lead God's people in praise and worship through welcoming and ushering in His Holy Spirit. We want to magnify and exalt the Lord in our hearts. When worshipers are drawn into God's presense, they speak to Him, and listen to Him. We rejoice when our mission has been accomplished. D2S (Children's Ministry): A dynamic children's ministry equipping children from 1st to 7th grades. Includes "off the chain" praise and worship, awesome object lessons geared for the challenges children face today. They meet every Sunday at 10:30am and Wednesday at 6:15pm. Activities include special performances throughout the year, car wash fund raisers, summer camp and much more. These children have a blast. Don't forget to check out the D2S Diner every Wednesday at 6:15pm featuring pizza, burgers, chips, drinks and much more. Relentless Youth (Teens): A ministry for those in their teen years in grades 8-12. Our youth's aim is to turn the world upside down for Christ! Activities include going to Ski Invasion each February, Christian parties, lock-ins, activities after football games (5th Quarter) and keeping teens in God's Word. They meet with the congregation on Sunday mornings and have their own teaching on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm that are geared just for the them and the pressures they face in today's world. P.U.P.S Kinderchurch: Kinder church is geared toward children 3 years of age through Kindergarten. They meet every SUnday after Praise and Worship and on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. Kinds are given an early start in learning God's word and principles with fun activities. Dance Team: The Dance Team's main vision is to glorify God through expression and movement. Dance ministry is all about--praising the Lord through dance. Even David danced before the Lord. What better way to praise Him than through interpretive dance. Flag Team: Flags are weapons of spiritual warfare, but also a means of praise. Flags encourage others to draw close to His presense. The flag team ministry will occasionally perform during services to help usher in the Holy Spirit and to excite the congregation for worship. Ladies Ministry: The Ladies of Harvest meet the first Thursday of each month. Guest speakers, special teachings, fellowship, seminars and ministries highlight the meetings. They also do special events and mentoring. Men's Ministry: The men meet once a month for fellowship, special teachings and guest speakers. They meet the 2nd Sunday of each month, 8:00am at H&F Restaurant in Jasper for breakfast.** The men's breakfast has been temporarily suspended!** Nursing Home Ministry: This ministry meets the first Wednesday of each month; 6:00pm at the nursing home in Japser. It's purpose is fellowship, prayer for the concerns of the residents, sharing God's word and to sing gospel music. Intercessory Prayer Ministry: The purpose of the intercessory prayer ministry is to lift prayers to God (to intercede) on behalf of the church, it's members, the world and the community. We pray that we may exist as a faithful and encouraging ministry. Strong Tower Ministry: Ministers to the victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Whether the abuse is presently happening or a rape or incest victim. Abuse of any form is a very traumatic experience. The body and heart suffers, but the spirit is battered as well. We minister to all three. We offer non-judgmental, compassionate counseling and spiritual guidance, as well as assistance with clothing, food and legal advocacy. We also offer referrals to emergency shelter, assistance with injunctions, 911 cell phones and safety planning. A Peculiar People Adult Drama Team: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light" (1 Peter 2:9 KJV). Ministry uses drama and theatrics to interpret contemporary music and the teachings of The Word. Performances are done throughout the year during Sunday services and special services as well.
